We Are Here For Each Other

There is so much wisdom and power in this quote that I felt motivated to share it.

I am willing to bet that we all sometimes forget that we are here for each other. I know that I do! We live in such a competitive and busy world that we might see others as a threat, or someone to avoid, or someone to make wrong and fix, or someone to argue with.

I wonder what would happen if we all devoted one day toward opening ourselves to seeing that we are all here for each other. Instead of seeing someone as a threat, see them as someone who has something to teach us. Instead of seeing a person as someone to avoid, see them as someone worth getting to know and understand. Rather than seeing someone who has a problem that needs fixing, see them as perfect just the way they are in the moment. If we suspend our need to be right, we become less inclined to avoid, fix, argue with,or unecessarily judge others.

I wonder how much the world would change if we all remembered that we are here for each other. I think it is a good idea, I am going to start remembering today and see what happens.
